City Nightlife Prospers Despite Recession from VidSF on Vimeo.

This is the first in a three part series by VidSF to profile small San Francisco businesses during these tough economic times. In this first profile we focus on the Nob Hill Grille, a small diner doing well despite the gloom and doom of the wider economy.

It's also important to note that Kieran is accepting ideas for small businesses to profile in the next two parts to this series. Leave your suggestions below as comments.

How are the local cycling shops doing, E-Bikes, Shared Car companies, Public Transit?

  • Good insight into what's happening behind the commercial real estate scene and how it affects all parties. Doesn't sound good for brokers.

In my town of Vancouver BC, it's hard to get information like this in a timely manner from mainstream newspapers who all too often align more with their advertisers, the real estate industry, and paint a picture rosier than reality.

I like knowing where I stand as a small business owner.

    Can't wait for #3
