    I am excited to have more coverage of this topic, bringing in the current conversations, protests, etc. There is so much ignorance (including my own) about the violent, wildfire-fast birth of Minnesota as a U.S. state. Hopefully this article/project will help increase understanding of the history and the ways the events in the 19th century are still affecting us.

What is Spot.us?
