    I've been working on this radio documentary for a bit over a year. The journey started with TEDxNOLA where I heard David Waggoner speak about opening up waterways in New Orleans. Now the script is close to finalization, and the fundraising is well underway. Thanks to all of you who have supported this project in multiple ways.

    I think the idea is a great one, but of course you could not do the whole city, the garden center would never agree for instance. Instead of a Streetcar named desire it might be a Gondola named greed.

    Yeah. The plan calls for uncovering the outflow canals that are currently paved over, for example. So I don't think it would involve carving up brand new canals where there are roads or homes or something now.
