I am a researcher in urban issues with a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from MIT. I devote most of my research in border issues between Mexico and the United States, throughout my projects I challenge the notion of pair-cities as separate entities, instead I look at them through a unilateral lens where the conflict manifested in opposing relations between needs, values, interest, and concerns of the two different entities can become the tool for negotiation among multiple systems. Currently I am a Cultural Diplomat Representative and leader of Crónicas de Héroes Mexico -- an instance of the Center for Future Civic Media/Media Lab MIT. You can read some blogs from this project at:

Additionally I create mixed media pieces which are reflections of everyday issues such as poverty, immigration, race, inequality, segregation, injustice. I questions the complexities of life and use art as the tool that gives me the ability and freedom to explore experiment, investigate, and respond to those social subjects that I am concerned with. Art for me is the device for a conscious dialogue, one that can have a great impact on society.
