I am a traveler with a writing problem...or a writer with a traveling problem. I'm also a photographer, a reader, an idealist, and an adventuress.
Raised on a tree farm in rural New Hampshire and currently based in Salt Lake City, Utah, I'm a mountain child who's learning to love the desert.
I believe that being able to travel independently in foreign lands for extended periods of time is a skill, and with that skill comes a responsibility to give back somehow, either to the cultures I visit or to the people in my home country who cannot travel in this way. This is my ultimate goal: to use my writing and my photography as tools to educate and enlighten those who are interested in the world but can't quite reach it.
