About Tom Prete

Tom Prete is a former newspaper man perpetually reinventing himself as a journalist. The former editorial-page editor of the San Francisco Examiner and managing editor of the San Francisco Independent newspapers, he created the Ocean Beach Bulletin in 2010 to serve the communities of San Francisco's western edge. He previously worked for the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association think tank.
