From Montreal, actually, not the "Bay Area". I know that these stories revolve around local content, but I still want to support this initiative. Besides, regional stories can still be interesting - and have impact - on other locales.
I'm the National Coordinator for www.homelessnation.org - a Canadian non-profit that gives street involved citizens a chance to learn new media skills and have their voice heard in an open and supportive forum. We want to enable Canadians who are homeless to change the conditions of their lives and to build stronger, healthier communities.
