The next issue of McSweeney’s will be a one-time-only, limited edition, Sunday-sized newspaper, called the San Francisco Panorama--it'll have news and sports and arts coverage, and comics and a magazine and a weekend guide, and will basically be an attempt to demonstrate all the great things print journalism can (still) do, with as much first-rate writing and reportage and design as we can get in there.
One of the stories will be about the Bay Bridge. We’re working with the San Francisco Public Press to find out where billions of dollars in cost overruns went during the construction of the new one. Help us raise the money and be a part of this groundbreaking report. Thank you.
