About Celeste LeCompte

I've been covering sustainability and green business since 2004. I love stories that involve digging into the nitty gritty details, and my particular passions are infrastructure topics (e.g., electric power, transportation, waste management), sustainability metrics, and food systems issues.

Today, I work with GigaOM Pro, delivering affordable market research to entrepreneurs and technologist in all-size business. I've edited everything from 100+ page market research reports to 10-word teasers. Writing that bridges print and online is my specialty. Through my organization Revolutionary Grammar, I work with other writers and editors to help clients produce everything from feature magazine articles to annual reports.

Previously, I was the managing editor of Sustainable Industries magazine and an associate editor at the now-defunct utility news and analysis site NWCurrent.com. My work has also appeared online at BusinessWeek.com and NYTimes.com.
