I have covered the environment and energy for 10 years and have been freelance for six. While I am primarily a print reporter, I am breaking into radio and have produced some stories for KALW, a public radio station in San Francisco.
I love to travel and have visited more than 30 countries and all 50 U.S. states. I spend a lot of my spare time hiking, critter watching, and gardening. I grow vegetables and am converting the rest of my yard to native plants.
