The Census on Multiracial ID's - FINALLYI'm really glad that finally the Census organizers are "thinking outside the box" and that biracial & multiracial folks can rightfully be counted as so. It has always been a pet peeve of mine when they only have one category for Asians - uh, Chinese and Japanese are two entirely different cultures. My hope is that all of the readers will take the time to fill out their forms accurately, now that they have an opportunity to actually be counted accurately. This article and the fact the Census folks made this change should inspire others to fill those puppys out. If not, it's going to cost us taxpayers even more to get counted. InsightfulI'm glad that there is help for HTC areas, the forms could get very confusing. This highlights how important it is for everyone to be counted.
