The Columbia Missourian is a 501c3, not-for-profit, daily newspaper for the people of mid-Missouri. It is managed by professional editors and staffed by students from the Missouri School of Journalism.

The Missourian is a community, not campus, newspaper. It has been honored at state -- 58 Missouri Press Association awards this year -- and national -- named by the Associated Press Sports Editors as one of the top 10 newspapers under 20,000 circulation -- levels.

What is Spot.us?

Spot.Us is an open source project to pioneer "community powered reporting." Through Spot.Us the public can commission and participate with journalists to do reporting on important and perhaps overlooked topics.
