Arts Programs in SchoolsI think that the cutting of arts programs in schools due to the narrowing of curriculum, largely the result of NCLB, is a big element to this story. Funding of the arts is all well and good, but if kids don't get the opportunity to explore art at an early age, how much art will there be to fund in the next generation?
